Toan Chau | Guitar, Vocals Toan Chau is a co-founder of Cuesta Ridge, the bluegrass-injected Americana-rock band he and Pat Pearson started on the Central Coast back in 2002. A fixture of the San Luis Obispo music scene for more than two decades, Toan has performed at venues across SLO County and beyond, bringing a roots-forward sound rooted in bluegrass, country, and blues to every stage he plays.
Pat Pearson | Guitar, Vocals Pat Pearson has been playing alongside Toan since Cuesta Ridge's earliest days. The band's songwriting foundation, Pat brings a deep knowledge of Americana and country to their original catalog. The Cuesta Ridge material the duo will perform on May 24 spans their years of writing together, drawing from bluegrass, country, blues, and the kind of American roots music that sounds right in the open air.
About Cuesta Ridge Cuesta Ridge was born in the Santa Lucia Mountains on California's Central Coast in 2002. Described as bluegrass-injected Americana-rock, the band has been a mainstay of the SLO County music scene for over two decades, performing at the Parkfield Bluegrass Festival, Concerts in the Plaza, Live Oak Music Festival, and venues from San Luis Obispo to Paso Robles. Their influences run from Bill Monroe and Django Reinhardt to Bob Marley and beyond.
