Saturday Barefoot Concerts on the Green

Starting each April, the patio green at Sea Pines becomes one of the best outdoor concert spots near Morro Bay. Each Saturday features a full six-hour lineup: an opening act at 2:00 pm, the main act from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, and a closing set inside the Clubhouse Grill from 6:00 to 8:00 pm as the evening settles in.

A different band plays every week. The genre range covers reggae, R&B, classic rock, Latin jazz, soul, funk, blues, and more. The patio overlooks the golf course. The bar is open. The food is good. No tickets, no cover, no dress code.

What to Expect

  • Sea Pines is not a concert hall. It is a golf course patio with great food, cold drinks, and live music every weekend. That is exactly the point.
  • The outdoor stage sits on the putting green, surrounded by the fairways and open sky of the Central Coast. Tables fill the patio. Some people bring lawn chairs. Kids are welcome. Dogs are welcome on the outer green. The crowd is a mix of resort guests, locals, golfers finishing their round, and people who made the drive from Morro Bay specifically for the show.
  • The full Clubhouse Grill menu is available all afternoon and evening. The bar is fully stocked. Service runs through the last set.
  • When the outdoor show wraps at 6:00 pm, the closer moves inside for the final two hours. The energy shifts from open-air afternoon to easy evening in about five minutes. It is one of the better transitions a Saturday can make.
